Job summary

Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Senior Security Engineer to lead offensive security engagements across on-premises and cloud environments. You will perform advanced red team testing, identify vulnerabilities, and report findings to stakeholders.

You will develop custom tools, collaborate with security teams, and help mature attack simulations, risk assessments, and remediation guidance.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in offensive security/penetration testing/red team operations.
• Proven end-to-end red team and advanced security assessment experience.
• Strong knowledge of web app, network, cloud and identity attack techniques.
• Experience with privilege escalation, lateral movement, persistence, and post-exploitation.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute advanced red team engagements across enterprise and cloud environments.
• Simulate real-world adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures.
• Conduct web app, API, cloud, identity, network, and endpoint testing.
• Identify, exploit, and validate security vulnerabilities to show business risk.
• Perform attack path analysis, privilege escalation, lateral movement, and post-exploitation activities.
• Assess cloud environments for security weaknesses and misconfigurations.
• Evaluate security controls, monitoring capabilities, and detection mechanisms.
• Develop offensive security tools, scripts, payloads, and automation.
• Operate command-and-control frameworks to facilitate testing.
• Collaborate with security operations for purple team exercises.
• Provide remediation recommendations to strengthen posture.
• Prepare technical reports and risk assessments for stakeholders.
• Contribute to offensive security methodologies and testing procedures.
