Job summary

Citizens is seeking a Principal Operator, Red Team to act as a hands-on offensive security practitioner. You will emulate advanced attackers, design multi-environment campaigns, and collaborate with Blue Team to improve detections and responses.

The role emphasizes full lifecycle testing, strict engagement rules, and ongoing learning in evolving threats, AI security, and cloud ecosystems, reporting to Red Team leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Industry certifications such as OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CRTP or similar advanced offensive security credentials.
• Experience with AI security testing or AI red teaming is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute Red Team and Purple Team engagements as a primary operator including adversary emulation and intelligence driven attack paths.
• Design and execute campagne-based attack operations across on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid environments.
• Perform hands-on exploitation and abuse with focus on living off the land techniques and identity abuse.
• Document findings including attack paths, weaknesses, and detections for engagement reports.
