Job summary

StraitSys Inc in Falls Church, VA, seeks a System/Environment Administrator to manage enterprise application environments across development, testing, and production. You will configure, monitor, and support deployments, while coordinating with developers, testers, and security teams to ensure secure, available systems throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates will have DOJ/EOIR experience, strong cloud and Azure/Microsoft 365 familiarity, and a background in DevSecOps and environment lifecycle

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain DOJ Public Trust Investigation (PTI).
• Bachelor's degree and relevant professional experience in systems administration, cloud administration, IT, CS, or related discipline.
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Configure, administer, maintain, and monitor application systems and supporting environments.
• Support development, testing, staging, production, and other environments throughout the SDLC.
• Monitor system availability, performance, capacity, and health; identify issues before they impact users or missions.
• Perform routine system administration: configuration management, maintenance, patching, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate deployments, releases, configuration changes, and environment promotions with developers and testers.
• Administer user accounts, roles, permissions, and system access per access control and security requirements.
• Collaborate with Security Engineers to implement hardening, access controls, vulnerability remediation, and security requirements.
• Support identity and access management activities with enterprise authentication/authorization services.
• Monitor logs, alerts, services, scheduled processes, integrations, and troubleshoot issues.
• Assist with production deployments, release validation, post-deployment monitoring, and stabilization.
• Develop and maintain system administration documentation, SOPs, deployment procedures, troubleshooting guides.
