Job summary

Kyndryl is seeking a Lead, Software Engineering Quality Assurance to drive test strategy, automation, and overall quality for cloud-based managed services. You will define test plans from design docs and collaborate across engineering squads to ensure robust feature, integration, and system testing before release.

You will build and maintain automation for acceptance, functional, and regression tests, analyze defects, and mentor other QA engineers while promoting testing best practices across

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience testing complex software products for large enterprise customers in an agile environment.
• Deep understanding of QA processes, standards, tools and technologies.
• Experience with testing and delivering complex features/products for web-based enterprise apps and automating UI, CLI, and API testing.
• Practical knowledge in at least one or two open-source automation tools/frameworks.
• Good understanding of the entire software development life cycle.
• Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Define test strategies, specifications, test cases, and test plans from design docs.
• Develop new features with engineering squads and ensure full testing before release.
• Automate test cases and build test suites for regression, scaling, and performance.
• Analyze and track defects; design and implement automated test tools and scripts.
• Lead quality engineering discussions and mentor other QA Engineers.
