Job summary

Kyndryl in Durham, NC is seeking a Software Engineer – Developer to design, develop, and implement cutting-edge software solutions. You will contribute to our CI/CD pipeline, ensure components are tested and documented, and help architect scalable microservices using Docker and Kubernetes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5+ years of experience as a software engineer on complex projects.
• Strong coding skills in Java, Python, and .NET with debugging and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with software development methodologies and building scalable, robust software.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, and Rest-based web services.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, containers (Docker & Kubernetes), and messaging queues.
• Deep understanding of OOP and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement software components per design docs.
• Ensure components are documented, unit-tested, and ready for integration.
• Architect solutions, test code, and deploy/build CI/CD pipelines.
