Job summary

Openkyber is seeking a QA Test Automation Lead for its Data Lake and Data Warehouse initiatives in Columbus, OH. The role focuses on developing automation strategies, CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring regulatory-aligned QA across projects.

You will work with Azure DevOps, Python, Snowflake, AWS, and DataStage to build scalable testing solutions and drive data quality throughout ingestion lifecycles.

Qualifications

• Experience in financial services (banking) industry.
• Strong SQL, ETL testing, and data warehouse concepts.
• Proficiency in test automation tools: Cucumber, Selenium, PyTest, DBT tests.
• Experience with Snowflake and AWS data platforms.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps CI/CD.
• Excellent communication and prioritization skills.
• Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead QA efforts for multiple concurrent projects in data ingestion and integration.
• Design, implement, and maintain automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and execute SIT and support UAT testing with stakeholders.
• Collaborate with data engineers, developers, PMs, and compliance teams to ensure data quality.
• Drive continuous improvement in QA processes.
• Design and implement scalable test automation framework and strategy.
• Create daily/weekly test execution metrics and status reports.
• Assist PMs/Scrum Masters to drive defect resolution.
• Leverage tools/techniques to streamline and automate processes.
• Participate in walk-throughs, reviews, and QA meetings.
• Review project requirements, data mappings, and technical design specs.
• Analyze data, troubleshoot data issues, and create action plans for quality issues.
• Collaborate on defect analysis and triage.
• Participate in production deployment verification and QA validation.
