Job summary

Extreme Networks is seeking a Software QA Engineer to ensure quality across cloud-based networking applications. The role requires robust experience in API testing, UI automation, and test strategy development for scalable cloud services.

You will work with cross-functional teams including Product, Dev, and CloudOps to validate deployments, performance, and security, utilizing tools like Selenium, JMeter, and Playwright. Chennai-based, on-site position with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• QA experience with cloud-based applications
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, and clustering
• Ability to design end-to-end test strategy and plans
• Automation of API and GUI tests

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, execute and automate test suites for cloud-based networking apps and services
• Perform functional, integration, performance, scale and load validations
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Development, CloudOps and other teams
• Review customer deployments and gaps in test coverage and address them
• Review automation code and provide feedback
• Conduct API testing (functional, security, performance)
