Job summary

iShift.io seeks an Automation Test Engineer to advance our cloud-native modernization project on Azure. You will develop and maintain Playwright-based automated test suites while performing manual and regression testing, supporting UAT and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver high-quality releases.

The role requires 5–8 years of QA experience, strong automation skills with Playwright and BDD, and hands-on use of XRay, Jira, and Azure DevOps in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of software testing and QA experience.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright test automation.
• Experience with BDD frameworks and Gherkin scenarios.
• Experience with XRay, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Visual Studio.
• Experience creating automated UI, functional, and regression tests.
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated test suites using Playwright.
• Create BDD-based test scenarios and automated regression tests.
• Execute automated, manual, functional, integration, and smoke testing as needed.
• Manage test cases, test execution, and traceability using XRay.
• Support QA, SIT, and UAT activities across project releases.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and requirements reviews.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and the development team to validate requirements and ensure product quality.
