Job summary

iClassPro is seeking a QA Automation Engineer to advance the Playwright-based testing framework across UI, API, and data layers, ensuring speed, reliability, and scalability of our SaaS platform. You will mentor teammates, integrate tests into CI/CD, and partner with product and development teams to reduce quality risk while delivering robust software for schools nationwide.

Applicants should have 5+ years of QA with Playwright experience, strong C#/.NET skills, API testing and database testing

Qualifications

• 5+ years of QA/testing experience with significant automation experience.
• Hands-on Playwright experience; Selenium a plus.
• Strong C# skills and .NET applications/APIs.
• Experience with API testing/automation (Postman or similar).
• Strong database testing experience with data validation and stored procedures.
• Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience scaling/refactoring automation frameworks.
• Excellent troubleshooting and collaboration skills.
• Passion for engineering quality beyond bug finding.

Responsibilities

• Lead and evolve Playwright-based automation framework for UI, API, integration, and end-to-end coverage.
• Improve architecture, patterns, and maintainability as coverage grows.
• Deepen automated tests within CI/CD and development workflows.
• Collaborate with Development and Product to identify quality risks early.
• Create effective test strategies and data for automated regression.
• Perform API and database testing including stored procedures.
• Investigate complex failures and drive defects to resolution.
• Improve automation speed, reliability, and coverage at scale.
• Mentor QA engineers and promote quality engineering best practices.
