Job summary

SAP NS2 is seeking an Associate Project Manager to provide associate-level leadership on Cloud projects within the NS2 Cloud portfolio. You will support planning, execution, monitoring and reporting, collaborating with SAP teams, technical staff, and senior leadership to track requirements and mitigate issues.

Location is Hybrid/Herndon, VA. Requirements include 2+ years in high-tech, knowledge of Agile/Scrum/Waterfall, and PMP or CSM preferred.

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in the high-tech industry.
Basic understanding of applications, technical infrastructure, cloud, networks, data, and security.
Knowledge of software development methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, Hybrid, etc.
Knowledge of IT project stakeholder roles (Architects, Developers, Engineers, Testers).
PMO leadership experience preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication with metrics and presentations.
Certifications: PMP or CSM preferred.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or related technical discipline.
Experience with Service NOW SPM, Microsoft SharePoint, Microsoft Project preferred.

Responsibilities

Manages technical project planning, monitoring and controlling the project performance.
Assist PMO Directors to implement portfolio, program and project management best practices.
Evaluates project situations and identifies viable solutions for successful outcomes.
Analyzes risk and establishes contingency/response plans and responsibilities.
Communicate project status, issues and risks to stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Manage relationships with project stakeholders and clients, keeping them informed of progress.
Manage the financial aspects of the project.
Determine what constitutes successful closure and obtain sign-off.
