Job summary

Rose International is seeking a Cloud Production Support and Infrastructure Specialist in Chicago, IL. This hybrid role focuses on managing AWS cloud infrastructure, Linux systems, and security with strong incident triage and coordination across technical teams.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in production support, AWS, Linux admin, and vulnerability management, with a HS diploma and a preference for a Bachelor's degree. Temporary to hire with onsite 3 days/week.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in production support and operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support AWS environments across Dev, UAT, and Production, including EC2, VPCs, Bastion hosts, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, GitLab runners, and AWS Certificate Manager.
• Maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows server components, including patching, package management, server reboots, vulnerability remediation, and environment readiness activities.
• Support infrastructure planning for global expansion, including Snowflake integration, multi-region AWS deployments, and operational readiness for new platform capabilities.
• Provide production support for the IAA web reporting interface and related backend components, including SAP S/4HANA, PostgreSQL, S3 storage, ETL pipelines, and Bloomberg integrations.
• Monitor application and infrastructure health using CloudWatch, alerts, ServiceNow, GitLab Service Desk, and Azure DevOps boards.
• Triage incidents, coordinate resolution across teams, and support transition of support processes into ServiceNow.
• Manage onboarding and access provisioning for internal/external users, MFA, Okta coordination, and compliance-related documentation.

• 5+ years of experience
• Production Support & Operations: Demonstrated experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments, including incident triage, root-cause analysis, support handoffs, ticket management, and stakeholder communications
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, VPCs, Bastion hosts, Certificate Manager, and cloud-based monitoring, troubleshooting, and access patterns
• Linux and Server Administration: Strong working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux administration, including package management with Yum/DNF, patching, system maintenance, reboot coordination, and basic shell-based troubleshooting
• Security, Access & Vulnerability Management: Familiarity with user provisioning, MFA, Okta, InfoSec coordination, vulnerability remediation workflows, certificate lifecycle management, and compliance-oriented documentation

IAA Production Support And Infrastructure Specialist Overview

The IAA Production Support & Infrastructure Specialist will help ensure the stability, security, and operational readiness of the IAA platform across cloud infrastructure, application support, access management, and production operations. This role will partner closely with development, infrastructure, InfoSec, accounting, and service desk teams to troubleshoot issues, support AWS and server environments, manage operational workflows, and improve support processes for a business‑critical investment accounting and reporting platform.

Responsibilities

Platform Operations & Infrastructure Support

• Administer and support AWS environments across Dev, UAT, and Production, including EC2, VPCs, Bastion hosts, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, GitLab runners, and AWS Certificate Manager
