Job summary

Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking an Intern for the CFO - IT (Cloud Platform) to contribute to high-impact projects and gain real-world experience within a leading biopharma organization.

You will participate in professional development, leadership sessions, and community activities while working in an Agile team to build and document cloud capabilities. Responsibilities include learning cloud technology, creating reusable components, and presenting your work at the end of the internship.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old at start of internship.
• Must be enrolled full-time in a nationally accredited U.S. college or university in a BA/MA/MBA/JD/PhD program, with Fall enrollment.
• Must be currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student.
• Must have a minimum GPA of 2.8 at application time ( transcripts may be requested).
• Must be independently authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must commit to a full-time internship lasting 10–12 consecutive weeks between May and August.
• Hybrid work setup; fully remote roles are not offered.

Responsibilities

• Learn about Cloud technology and its usage at Gilead.
• Work in an Agile development team.
• Build capabilities for the Gilead Cloud platform.
• Create reusable software components/patterns.
• Leverage Confluence, Jira, and GitHub to document and store work.
• Showcase work with a final presentation near internship conclusion.
