Job summary

Gilead Sciences Inc. is seeking an Intern for the CFO Corporate Development team (Transactions). You will help drive deal sourcing to execution, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support negotiation of proposals and contracts.

A final presentation will showcase your work. The role requires full-time enrollment in an accredited U.S. program, a minimum 2.8 GPA, and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled full-time in a Bachelor’s, Master’s, MBA, JD or PhD program in the U.S.
• Must maintain full-time enrollment for Fall after internship.
• Must be 18+ years old at start of internship.
• Must have a minimum 2.8 GPA at application.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
• Must commit to a 10-12 week full-time internship between May and August.
• Hybrid work; fully remote roles not offered.

Responsibilities

• Drive process and execution for potential transaction opportunities from deal sourcing to execution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather inputs and align on transaction structure and terms.
• Support preparation and negotiation of proposals, term sheets, and contracts with BD and legal teams.
• Present final work with a PPT near internship conclusion.
