Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an Engineering Lead Analyst to architect and implement core cloud infrastructure for hosting applications, deliver cloud-native microservices, and automate provisioning. You will work with developers across the full SDLC and help advance Citi's cloud-first strategy in a hybrid Irving, TX environment.

The role requires 6+ years in Java, Spring Boot, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and a strong security and architecture mindset, with hands-on experience in cloud deployments and IaC.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of strong hands-on Java development experience (Java 17+/Spring Boot 3.0+).
• Experience implementing secure REST services/microservices.
• CI/CD pipelines and toolchain (Git, Jira, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory).
• Containers and Kubernetes (Docker, EKS/GKE/OpenShift).
• TDD and automated UI testing; Kafka, MongoDB/SQL experience.
• Knowledge of Domain Driven Design and Event-Driven Architecture.
• Hands-on cloud deployment on public clouds; IaC with Terraform.
• OAuth 2.0/OpenID Connect, SAML, and basic security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Automate foundational infrastructure for public cloud services.
• Deliver tooling for cloud-first strategy and onboarding.
• Ensure compliance, auditability, and policy-as-code.
• Develop cloud-native solutions and CI/CD enablement.
• Drive process improvements and maintain alignment with operations roadmap.
