Job summary

Mercor in San Francisco is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to own the internal IT infrastructure Mercor runs on — and to run it as code. You'll design and operate the platform beneath our identity, cloud, and SaaS systems, including Okta configuration managed in Terraform and declarative IAM.

You'll own SCIM integrations, multi-cloud account structure (AWS, GCP, Azure) with least-privilege access, build Terraform for environments, automate onboarding/offboarding, and document architecture and

Qualifications

• Hands-on production experience with Terraform, managing real infrastructure as code.
• Production experience with Okta and SCIM integrations — ideally declarative.
• Strong IAM experience across AWS, GCP or Azure with least-privilege practices.

Responsibilities

• Own identity infrastructure and provisioning — Okta and IAM managed as code.
• Design and implement SCIM integrations across our SaaS stack.
• Own cloud account structure, IAM roles, and permissions across cloud platforms.
• Build and maintain Terraform for internal platforms to ensure reproducibility.
• Document platform architecture, runbooks, and automation; mentor teammates.
