Job summary

Verisk is seeking a Development Operations Engineer to join our hybrid Lehi, Utah team. You will help implement cloud-first strategies, build automated CI/CD pipelines, and manage infrastructure as code to support scalable, resilient services.

Ideal candidates bring AWS experience, containerization with Docker and Kubernetes, and strong scripting in Python, plus familiarity with IaC tools like CloudFormation or Terraform in a DevOps setting.

Qualifications

Experience building large-scale enterprise architecture solutions with security and high availability.
Experience with AWS and cloud architecture.
Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace, New Relic, etc.).
Familiarity with Splunk; container experience with Docker & Kubernetes.

Responsibilities

Deploy applications in an automated fashion by creating and managing CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and maintain infrastructure as code.
Design highly available and cost-effective architectures.
Monitor, alert, and support production environments to keep systems running smoothly.
Provide off-hour support to troubleshoot mission-critical applications.
Engage with multiple business units to prototype ideas and drive innovation.
Recommend solutions aligned with business needs and requirements.
Provide configuration recommendations and assistance.
Assist in developing detailed project specifications and implementation plans.
Contribute to central cloud architecture efforts to benefit Verisk.
