Job summary

NetApp is seeking a passionate and experienced Software Development Engineer to join our Cloud Platforms team. You will contribute to developing industry-leading data management solutions for customers across AWS, GCP, OCI, and other clouds, writing robust software that scales in the cloud.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on software development and cloud engineering.
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as C/C++ or equivalent, and Python.
• Strong hands-on operational knowledge in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, GCP, or OCI).
• Strong knowledge of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and collaboration skills are a must.
• Ability to work with limited supervision and operate and drive results independently.

Responsibilities

• Develop a strong technical understanding of NetApp’s data management and storage solutions in the Cloud.
• Participate in all phases of the product development cycle including design, development, test automation, debugging and support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Handle unstructured tasks and convert vague requirements into clearly articulated ones.
• Operate under limited supervision and set priorities independently.
• Engage in peer-to-peer collaboration and continuous learning.
