Job summary

NetApp, Inc. is seeking Software Engineers to design, develop, and test an enterprise cloud application. You will work on cutting-edge technologies to stabilize new products and services that extend NetApp’s data fabric across applications.

You will design, code, and test core workflows, debug defects, and optimize performance in collaboration with SRE and DBAs. The role requires Golang and Python experience, Linux proficiency, and familiarity with PostgreSQL/Redis in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Must have Golang and Python programming experience.
• Experience developing and delivering REST, JSON, XML based APIs for configuration, reporting, etc.
• Experience programming on Linux platform.
• Experience using relational database preferably PostgreSQL, and NoSQL database preferably Redis.
• Experience with Microservice architecture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in designing, coding, and testing code to drive the core workflows according to project requirements and established software development standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve system defects, including debugging code, resolving configuration issues, and fixing software defects.
• Analyze the performance of systems, identifying bottlenecks, and proposing solutions.
• Optimize code, database queries, server configurations, or other areas to improve performance.
• Work closely with other team members, including senior engineers, SRE, and database administrators, during all stages of development.
• Document functionality, design, development, and testing strategies.
• Demonstrates outstanding proficiency in both written and oral communication.
