Job summary
NetApp is seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Development Engineer to lead innovation across cloud infrastructure, storage, virtualization, and distributed systems. You will guide design and execution of foundational capabilities powering NetApp’s cloud-native data services across hyperscaler environments.

Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in systems software engineering or related fields.
- Expert-level C/C++ with Python proficiency.
- Deep Linux internals, kernel tech, and performance engineering.
- Experience designing distributed storage or cloud-native infra.
- Strong virtualization and networking expertise.
Responsibilities
- Lead design and development of scalable infrastructure components across storage, networking, Linux, and virtualization.
- Set architecture direction for subsystems in software-defined storage and cloud platforms.
- Collaborate across teams and partners to deliver distributed storage capabilities.
- Architect and optimize storage and networking data paths for performance and scalability.
- Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across the organization.
