Job summary

Tyler Technologies in Boston, MA is seeking a Software Development Engineer to join a team building scalable cloud software and ecosystems that accelerate access to government data for citizens, developers, businesses and researchers.

You will work in a microservices style environment, contribute to design and implementation, mentor peers, and collaborate with product owners to deliver high-quality features on AWS.

Qualifications

• Desire to write scalable, well-tested code.
• Experience with at least one statically typed language (Scala, Elixir, Java, Go or C++).
• Strong HTML, CSS, and JavaScript experience.
• Experience with React/ES2016, Redux, jQuery, TypeScript and Rails.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (Mocha, Chai, Jest, RSpec).
• Track record of delivering software amid ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship high-quality customer-facing features.
• Maintain and improve a distributed cloud platform on AWS.
• Mentor other engineers and share knowledge.
• Collaborate with developers, management and product owners to architect solutions.
