Job summary

Tyler Technologies is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our cloud platform and ecosystem, helping government data flow to citizens, developers, businesses and researchers. You will work on scalable, distributed systems with AWS, collaborating with product and design to ship high‑quality features.

You should bring 4+ years of full‑stack experience, proficiency in statically typed languages (e.g., Java, Go, Scala), strong frontend skills (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/React), and a track record

Qualifications

4+ years of full-stack development experience.
Experience with statically typed languages (Scala, Elixir, Java, Go or C++).
Significant frontend experience (HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) with React/ES2016, Redux, jQuery, Typescript and Ruby on Rails.
Ability to pass a federal background check.
Experience shipping software and owning all lifecycle stages of a system.

Responsibilities

Build and ship high-quality customer-facing features.
Maintain and improve a distributed cloud platform running on AWS.
Provide direct mentorship to junior engineers on the team.
Collaborate with engineers, management, designers, and product owners to design and architect solutions.
