Job summary

Apple is seeking a Platform Software Engineer on the Audio Software Integration team to own the cloud infrastructure behind our CI/CD systems. You will manage Kubernetes clusters, PostgreSQL databases, and workflow orchestration, focusing on reliability and scalability.

You will code infrastructure with Terraform and Kustomize, drive CI/CD improvements, and collaborate with backend teams to enable API development and tooling in Go.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on experience administering Kubernetes in production.
• Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform.
• Experience managing cloud environments on GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience operating PostgreSQL databases in production.
• Knowledge of a backend language (Go).
• Experience with CI/CD systems and Git.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the cloud infrastructure platform supporting audio software development and delivery.
• Ensure platform reliability, scalability, security, and ease of use for partner teams.
• Manage infrastructure through code using Terraform and Kustomize; drive CI/CD improvements.
• Lead platform migrations between cloud and on-prem Kubernetes environments.
• Contribute to backend services and internal tooling in Go as needed.
