Job summary

Apple Inc. in Cupertino, CA is seeking a Platform Software Engineer, Audio Software Integration to own the cloud infrastructure that underpins CI/CD for audio software development and delivery.

You will manage Kubernetes clusters, PostgreSQL databases, and workflow orchestration, enabling reliable, scalable platform services for internal teams. You will work with Go for backend tooling, Terraform for infrastructure as code, and collaborate with application teams to design APIs and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in CS or related field.
• 5+ years in cloud infrastructure, SRE, or DevOps roles.
• Hands-on Kubernetes administration in production.
• Proficiency with Terraform and infrastructure as code.
• Experience with GCP/AWS/Azure environments.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and backend programming (Go).
• Experience with CI/CD and Git, strong problem-solving and communication.

Responsibilities

• Own and operate the cloud infrastructure platform supporting CI/CD and internal tooling.
• Manage Kubernetes environments, including cluster configuration and deployment strategies.
• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform and integrate into CI/CD pipelines.
• Drive migrations across environments from cloud to internal Kubernetes.
• Ensure reliability, security, and scalability of platform services via monitoring.
• Operate and optimize PostgreSQL databases and schema evolution.
• Deploy and support workflow platforms such as Temporal.
• Collaborate with application teams to support APIs and workflow design.
• Contribute to backend services and internal tooling to boost developer productivity.
