Job summary

Swift is seeking a Platform Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and software platforms. You will work hands-on with AWS environments, Kubernetes, and modern automation frameworks to deliver robust solutions.

Responsibilities include IaC development, container orchestration, and integration of open-source components within an Agile team to support mission-critical systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in Platform Engineering or Software Development.
• Experience deploying infrastructure in AWS.
• US citizenship with an active security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure in AWS.
• Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Support deployment and management of containerized apps using Kubernetes.
• Contribute to development of custom software components and integration of open-source solutions.
• Apply software engineering best practices across build, deployment, and operations lifecycles.
• Collaborate with teams to design secure, automated pipelines (GitLab CI/CD or Jenkins).
• Troubleshoot complex systems across cloud, network, and platform layers.
• Work within Agile development to support rapid iteration and delivery.
