Ford Motor Company is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead cloud-based platform components within the Vehicle, Mobile and Cloud group, focusing on Device Connectivity and Ford Volkswagen Alliance.

You will drive cost, quality, and delivery improvements while mentoring a 6–10 person team and collaborating across engineering, product, and partner orgs in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent field.
• 5+ years in cloud-based or related functions.
• Experience designing and supporting cloud-based solutions in production.

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, delivery, and support of cloud-based platform software for Ford's connectivity.
• Own software for Ford Volkswagen Alliance connectivity across partner models.
• Manage delivery priorities for production platform components in an always-on environment.
• Monitor cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance of platforms.
• Support transformation efforts aligned to Converged Connectivity strategy.
• Lead and develop a team of ~6–10 direct/indirect reports.
• Collaborate with global engineering, product, service, and partner teams.
• Translate technical details for internal stakeholders and guide product lifecycle decisions.
