Job summary

Ford Motor Company in Dearborn, MI is seeking a Software Engineering Delivery Manager to lead the development, maintenance, and production support of the Device Connectivity Platform within the Vehicle, Mobile and Cloud organization, and to drive integration across the Ford-Volkswagen Alliance.

You will manage a global team and oversee cost, quality, and delivery in an always-on cloud environment, guiding technical direction and supporting a converged connectivity strategy across partnerships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• Experience designing, deploying, and supporting cloud-based solutions in production environments
• Knowledge of cloud security considerations and 24/7 global operation requirements
• Experience leading global teams and collaborating across engineering, product, service, and partner organizations
• Strong communication, collaboration, networking, and relationship-building skills

Responsibilities

• Lead development, maintenance, and support of cloud-based platform software
• Own software for Ford Volkswagen Alliance connectivity integration across partnership models
• Manage delivery priorities for critical production platform components in an always-on environment
• Monitor and improve cost, quality, reliability, and delivery performance
• Lead transformation aligned to Ford’s Converged Connectivity strategy
• Coach and develop a team of 6–10 reports
• Collaborate with global engineering, product, integration, and partner teams
• Translate technical details into clear direction for stakeholders
• Make informed design and implementation decisions
• Drive process discipline and continuous improvement
