Capital District Physicians Health Plan Inc is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Engineer to shape the vision and implementation of distributed platforms across public and private cloud environments. The role collaborates with IT teams to enable PaaS, SaaS, hosted, and on-prem solutions while pursuing resiliency, security, and cost efficiency.

Level I–IV responsibilities span design, deployment, documentation, and budget involvement.

Qualifications

• 7+ years related work experience preferred or equivalent.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in CS/IT or related field.
• Knowledge of security, compliance, and audit policies/procedures.
• Experience with design, research, and implementation in assigned technologies.
• Infrastructure operations and project delivery experience essential.
• Scripting and automation experience.
• Understanding of cloud computing concepts.
• Ability to integrate disparate systems.

Responsabilités

• Act as primary engineer for assigned technology areas.
• Maintain highly performant infrastructure environment.
• Contribute to enterprise strategy and budget discussions.
• Assist in RFI/RFP processes.
• Mentor lower-level engineers as needed.
• Focus on automation for routine tasks.
• Conduct capacity planning and system analysis.
• Stay current with leading hybrid cloud technologies.
• Lead strategic IT infrastructure projects.
