Job summary

Schneider Electric is seeking a Principal DevOps Engineer to lead and advance our cloud infrastructure, DevOps platform, and software delivery maturity. You will shape platform capabilities, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment patterns, empowering engineering teams to move faster with guardrails and observability.

You will partner with Security, QA, Product, and Architecture to improve release reliability, developer velocity, and operational resiliency across our SaaS platform.

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native architectures.
• Strong Kubernetes experience, preferably AWS EKS, incl. production ops, networking, deployments.
• Infrastructure as Code experience using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Experience building reusable DevOps/platform engineering capabilities (templates, modules, pipelines).
• Experience supporting high-availability, customer-facing SaaS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and continuous improvement of EV Connect’s cloud infrastructure and DevOps platform.
• Build reusable developer platform capabilities (CI/CD workflows, Terraform modules, Helm charts).
• Develop standardized workflows to enable safe, independent service delivery by engineers.
• Improve release reliability with automated validation and guardrails.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, Security, and Architecture to raise deployment confidence.
• Mentor engineers and drive platform engineering best practices.
