This is a 6 month contract role and it is 100% remote based in US.

We're looking for a skilled Cloud Platform Architect to design, document, and build public cloud landing zones in our GCP, Azure, and OCI environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud engineering and architecture, with a focus on security, automation, and self-service capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement infrastructure platforms with end-to-end automation and self-service capabilities for cloud infrastructure provisioning and deployment.
• Create high-level and low-level designs and documentation for public cloud landing zone environments, focusing on:
• Identity & Access Management
• Management and Organization Structure
• Security
• Governance
• Platform / Infrastructure Automation
• Observability
• Ensure Reliability Engineering best practices and standards are built into designs.
• Architect design patterns and pipelines for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform.
• Design robust Golden Image pipelines for GCP, Azure, and OCI using tools like Hashicorp Packer, Jenkins, Github Actions, and Ansible.
• Design and implement pipelines for CI/CD patterns using Jenkins / Github Actions.
• Collaborate with peer groups to shape and adopt future product offerings within the GCP, Azure, and OCI platforms.
• Design and implement hybrid and multi-cloud solutions between on-premise environments, GCP, Azure, and OCI.
• Ensure security and compliance, designing security controls to meet relevant laws and regulations.
• Design and implement security policies consistently across all three cloud environments using Policy as Code (PaC) frameworks.
• Design and implement Observability and Monitoring practices for dashboard and continuous monitoring and optimisation of cloud infrastructure and platforms.
• Focus on FinOps and Cloud Cost management best practices.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 7+ years of experience in infrastructure or cloud engineering roles.
• 5+ years of experience in delivering GCP environments.
• 1-3 years of experience in delivering Azure environments.
• 1+ year of experience in delivering OCI environments.
• Extensive experience with Public Cloud Landing Zone architecture and concepts.
• Expertise in designing self-service and automation platforms for Infrastructure & Cloud Provisioning.
• Strong understanding of GCP & Azure infrastructure services, with intermediate knowledge of OCI services.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code solutions, Golden Image pipelines, and CI/CD methodologies.
