Job summary

INflow Federal is seeking a Jr Cloud Engineer to join the CORE team, delivering high-quality cloud solutions for DoW and Joint Force operations. You will maintain and enhance cloud infrastructure with a focus on efficiency and customer support, in a culture that values innovation and collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of experience, a relevant bachelor's degree (or 3 additional IT years), and proficiency with AWS. DoD TS/SCI clearance is required for this defense-focused role.

• 2+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or related field, or 3 additional years of IT experience
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience in providing customer-focused technical support
• Knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., RedHat, CentOS)
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Nexus)
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Respond to and resolve customer issues, providing top-tier technical support and customer service.
• Collaborate with various engineering teams to support user consumption of applications in the cloud in a sophisticated enterprise environment.
• Engage in application monitoring to assist in identifying and addressing application performance or availability issues.
• Continuously monitor supporting application infrastructure to help identify and report on scalability and performance issues.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for application support procedures.

As a Jr Cloud Engineer, you'll join our Continuous Operations Release Environment (CORE) team, providing high-quality, cost-effective cloud solutions to our clients. You'll be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our cloud infrastructure, with a strong focus on operational efficiency and customer support.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

• Proactively manage and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience
• Bachelor's Degree in computer science, computer engineering, systems engineering or any related field/major, or 3 additional years of experience in information technology
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in providing customer-focused technical support.
• Knowledge of Linux distributions (e.g., RedHat, CentOS).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and continuous integration tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Nexus).
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Required Clearance

• Active DoD TS/SCI

Certification Requirements

Most of our contracts require DoD 8140 (formerly 8570) compliance.
