Job summary

The role emphasizes project coordination, cross-contract collaboration, and the use of advanced technologies in a fast-moving defense environment. Strong DoD experience and TS/SCI clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Advanced networking and security architecture experience.
• DoD program involvement or equivalent with TS/SCI familiarity.
• Proven ability to document requirements and create architecture artifacts.
• Experience with enterprise storage and backup technologies is a plus.
• Knowledge of DISA STIGs and RMF risk management procedures.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Senior Engineering to assess and document program requirements.
• Develop architectural artifacts and integrate sources into a cohesive product.
• Support hardware/software integration and testing across contracts.
• Create architecture artifacts spanning technical, physical, and logical designs.
• Monitor communication channels and coordinate service tickets to closure.
• Assist in enterprise-scale system integration, virtualization, and DMZ architectures.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Collaborate and support the Senior Engineering and Project Integration staff in assessing, documenting, and tracking existing and new program requirements
• Support the program by developing artifacts, architectural documentation, and integration of various sources into a cohesive product, preparation of graphical and narrative presentation
• Support the integration, and testing of specific components of hardware/software systems on a complex program
• Work and interact with engineers across multiple contracts to produce architecture artifacts that span technical, physical and logical designs supporting a portfolio of managed services
• Monitor service line communication channels for immediate needs throughout the day
• Support comprehensive solutions development by leveraging subject matter experts from across several contracts and service lanes to produce and document environments
• Managing assigned service tickets and coordinating closure as needed
• Support enterprise scale system integration and design, enterprise Virtualized environments, LAN and WAN technologies, Firewall technologies, DMZ Architectures, Enterprise class storage (NAS & SAN technologies) and Backup technologies (NetBackup, Cohesity and Veeam Backup solutions)

• Cisco ASA / Palo Alto Firewalls
• VMware Infrastructures and architectures, virtual networking, vROPS
• Red Hat Enterprise Linux, YUM, Satellite, Capsule technologies
• Enterprise Storage Systems (EMC (Unity, Isilon platforms) NetApp)
• Enterprise scale backup technologies
• DISA STIG Audits, hardening and remediation procedures
• Certification and Accreditation Experience
• Risk Management Frameworks

Clearance Requirements

• Active DoD TS/SCI

$120,000 - $150,000 a year

This is the likely salary range for this position. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
