Job summary

The University of New Hampshire in Durham, NH seeks a Cloud Operations Technical Lead to guide the Automation and Platform Services team, building and supporting the enterprise IT automation toolkit within CI/CD, DevOps, and IaC environments.

You will oversee Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP stack administration, cloud platforms (VMware, Azure, AWS), and lead hiring, performance reviews, and staff development while ensuring security, reliability, and scalable service delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and related IT experience minimum.
• Experience with Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP (LAMP).
• Experience with VMware, Azure, AWS, and cloud hosting.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to the Automation and Platform Services team staff.
• Oversee all work by the team including quality and timeliness of delivery.
• Plan and schedule team resources and hiring processes.
• Conduct formal and ongoing performance reviews and goal setting.
• Support staff development and training and document processes.
