Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking engineers for the AWS Intelligence team to implement and operate large-scale cloud solutions for U.S. Government agencies.

You will troubleshoot complex systems, automate operational tasks, and support 24/7 shift work with a focus on operational excellence. Required TS/SCI clearance and experience with Linux, networking, and cloud concepts; preferred familiarity with virtualization and AWS core services.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of Systems Administration in Linux/Unix environments.
• 1-3 years of Networking (TCP/IP, DNS) experience.
• 1-3 years of Troubleshooting / IT support experience.
• Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above.

Responsibilities

• Dive deep to find root causes of customer issues and investigate metrics.
• Provide troubleshooting and operations support and automate tasks.
• Collaborate with a dedicated group to improve operational processes.
