Overview: Implements and supports VNS Health's cloud-based strategic technology platforms. Responsible for the functionality, quality, value, and timely delivery of products and services within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Azure Infrastructure Portfolios, supporting cloud capabilities across all lines of business. Works under general supervision.

What You Will Do
- Provide day-to-day support for AWS and Azure environments supporting VNS Health's applications and services, including administration, operational support, and problem resolution of cloud solutions.
- Manage relationships with managed service providers for AWS, Azure, network, and support services.
- Schedule and document all patching of cloud-based servers, providing reports for audits and certifications.
- Serve as a technical resource for designing, constructing, and deploying cloud applications and services. Assist in documentation and procedures supporting cloud applications.
- Manage AWS project requests, coordinate cloud engineering resources, and support change management initiatives.
- Utilize standardized scripts and processes to provide AWS services, resize servers, and allocate resources as needed.
- Monitor and manage AWS usage and billing, optimize costs, and automate resource shutdowns to reduce expenses.
- Test disaster recovery procedures regularly, generate audit reports, and participate in capacity planning and performance evaluations.
- Monitor cloud environments for performance and availability, manage escalations, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
- Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Licenses and Certifications:
- Cloud certifications such as AWS SysOps, DevOps, or Solutions Architect preferred
- Windows or Linux Certified Engineer preferred
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience required
- Master's Degree preferred
Work Experience:
- Minimum three years of experience in systems operations, administration, and telecommunications network maintenance
- Experience with enterprise IT projects and cloud technologies (PaaS, IaaS, cloud infrastructure)
- Strong communication, analytical, and client interaction skills
- Extensive knowledge of AWS technologies (EC2, S3, VPC, etc.)
- Familiarity with networking, virtualization, storage, and automation
- Experience with SharePoint, Office 365, cloud migration projects, scripting languages, and deployment tools
Compensation: $98,200 - $130,800 annually
