Job summary

Arka Innovate seeks a Cloud Operations Engineer with strong Azure and Google Cloud Platform expertise to optimize enterprise cloud environments. You will drive cloud migration initiatives, provide operational support, and develop automation to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.

Qualifications

• Experience managing Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) cloud environments.
• Proven ability to support cloud migrations and operate complex infrastructure.
• Familiarity with ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud infrastructure operations across Azure and GCP.
• Participate in cloud migration projects and on-prem to cloud transitions.
• Provide L3 support with root cause analysis and long-term fixes.
• Implement ITIL-based incident, change, and problem management processes.
• Administer Active Directory and support identity management.
• Collaborate with DevOps to support CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
• Develop automation and scripting to improve efficiency.
• Monitor performance and ensure high availability of cloud services.

Position Overview:

We are seeking aCloud Operations Engineerwith strong experience inAzure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)to support and optimize our client's enterprise cloud environments. The ideal candidate will play a key role incloud migration initiatives, operational support, and infrastructure automation, while ensuring reliability, scalability, and security of cloud platforms. This role requires a professional who canmanage complex cloud environments, provide L3 technical support, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supportcloud infrastructure operationsacrossMicrosoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)environments.


• Participate incloud migration projects, assisting in the transition ofon-premises workloads to cloud platforms.


• ProvideL3 support, including troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues, performingroot cause analysis, and implementing long-term solutions.


• Implement and maintainITIL-based operational processessuch asIncident Management, Change Management, and Problem Management.


• AdministerActive Directory (AD)and supportidentity and access managementactivities.


• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to supportCI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and environment stability.


• Develop and implementautomation and scripting solutionsto enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual tasks.


• Monitor system performance, ensurehigh availability and reliabilityof cloud services, and proactively address potential issues.


• Coordinate withinternal teams, stakeholders, and vendorsto ensure seamless operations and timely issue resolution.

Experience & Education Requirements:

• Strong hands-on experience withMicrosoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)cloud operations.


• Experience withcloud migration projects, particularlyon-premises to cloud transformations.


• Good understanding ofITIL processesincludingIncident, Change, and Problem Management.


• Experience withActive Directory administrationandidentity management.


• Working knowledge ofDevOps practices,CI/CD pipelines, anddeployment workflows.


• Experience inautomation and scriptingto improve infrastructure and operational efficiency.


• Ability to provideL3 support, including complex troubleshooting and root cause analysis.


• Strongcommunication, team collaboration, and stakeholder managementskills.
