Job summary

Responsibilities include developing high-quality network/hardware solutions, working with vendors, automating test plans and ensuring reliability at scale for AWS customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree or higher in electrical/computer engineering or equivalent.
• Experience verifying communication systems and hardware design.
• Experience developing test scripts for transceivers module validation.
• Vendor management and cross-functional collaboration experience.
• Understanding of transceiver modules and high-speed interconnects.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality network and systems operations, deployments and sustaining engineering.
• Drive product development plans with customers, peers and suppliers.
• Troubleshoot optical and electrical high-speed links and interoperability.
• Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and test new hardware/software features.
• Automate test plans and qualify optical/electrical modules.
• Define test plans for optical/electrical modules with ODM/CM suppliers.
• Work with network operations to improve quality and RMAs.
