Job summary

Commvault is seeking a Technical Content Engineer, Cloud Native to own the onboarding content for cloud workloads. You will publish hands-on guides, Terraform and CloudFormation templates, and API references that actually work and enable builders to protect services like S3, DynamoDB, and RDS at scale.

The role sits with Cloud Native product teams to accelerate trial activation and self-serve success, partnering with engineering, product, and growth to drive trials into paid usage.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a developer-facing technical role such as technical writing, developer relations, or solutions engineering.
• Strong AWS experience across S3, IAM, DynamoDB, RDS, EC2 and a cloud data protection mindset.
• Hands-on with IaC tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK.
• Docs-as-code fluency: Git workflows and MDX/Markdown writing.

Responsibilities

• Own the content that sells the product, including getting-started paths and API/SDK references.
• Build fast paths to first value, with validated, copy-pasteable examples.
• Write deep technical guides for workloads (S3, DynamoDB, EC2/EBS, RDS/Aurora).
• Own AWS Marketplace listings, trial flows, and in-product onboarding copy.
