Job summary

Compunnel, Inc. is seeking an IT Tech Lead | Architect to design, develop, and lead enterprise-scale technology solutions across cloud-native and distributed environments.

You will define end-to-end architectures, drive modernization, and set enterprise standards, providing technical leadership for mission-critical applications. The role emphasizes cloud platforms, microservices, enterprise integrations, and secure-by-design data architectures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6+ years of experience in Solution/System Architecture within large enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and/or Angular, Node.js, TypeScript, Java, Python, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with AWS cloud services including Lambda, ECS/EKS, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, and related services.
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or AWS CloudFormation).
• Strong understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, DDD, and enterprise integration patterns.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end solution architectures aligned with enterprise standards and business objectives.
• Translate requirements into scalable, secure architectural solutions.
• Architect and deliver cloud-native, API-driven, event-driven, and microservices-based applications.
• Lead modernization initiatives for new and legacy systems.
• Define roadmaps to support incremental modernization and continuous delivery.
• Design reusable architecture patterns, shared services, and enterprise integration frameworks.
• Collaborate with Enterprise and Principal Architects to align technology strategies across domains.
• Promote secure-by-design architecture, data privacy, and enterprise security best practices.
• Develop enterprise data models and scalable data architectures.
• Develop and maintain enterprise integration using MuleSoft, Kafka, ESB, APIs, and messaging technologies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and lead POC initiatives.
