Job summary

Wind River seeks a Senior Solutions Architect - Cloud Native / CaaS to guide customers through architecture, Proofs of Concept, and production adoption. You will collaborate with sales and engineering to design cloud migrations, automation, and platform capabilities across hybrid environments.

The role emphasizes customer-facing presales, technical leadership, and the ability to articulate business value to executives while traveling globally as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related field.
• 8+ years in solutions architecture, systems engineering, cloud architecture or related roles.
• Hands-on with Cloud-as-a-Service and cloud-native tech, Kubernetes, and multi-cloud environments.
• Experience in technical consulting, presales, and customer-facing activities.
• Excellent communication, writing, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor to enterprise customers, partners, and field teams.
• Understand objectives, requirements, architectures, and cloud transformation strategies.
• Develop end-to-end architectures leveraging CaaS, Kubernetes, storage, networking, automation.
• Lead discovery sessions, architecture workshops, and executive-level discussions.
• Deliver compelling technical presentations and customer demonstrations.
• Support proposals, RFP/RFI responses, and solution positioning.
• Translate complex concepts into clear business outcomes for technical and executive audiences.
