CVS Health is seeking a highly experienced Principal Software Development Engineer to lead architecture, design, and delivery of next-generation digital and analytical platforms across AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will own end-to-end solutions, mentoring teams and shaping secure, scalable frontend and backend systems in a regulated healthcare environment.

Qualifications

10+ years in defining and driving full-stack software engineering and cloud-native platforms.
5+ years in senior/principal/architect roles building cloud-native apps with GCP/AWS/Azure and microservices.
5+ years of frontend experience with Angular, React, React TS/JS.
5+ years backend experience with Python, API Forge, Rest API, Java.
3+ years of hands-on AI/GenAI integration.
Experience with Scrum/Agile delivery.

Responsibilities

Define and communicate the broader vision and IT strategy.
Serve as primary contact for stakeholders to define strategy and execution.
Lead architecture initiatives, ensure alignment with enterprise strategy and scalable solutions.
Develop multi-year technology roadmaps translating business capabilities into robust architectures.
Provide technical leadership, oversee debt, balance modernization with delivery.
Drive continuous improvement through performance data feedback loops.
Build and lead high-performing teams to solve complex technical challenges.
