Job summary

Vanguard seeks an expert IT technical lead to direct security automation across software pipelines, focusing on SAST, SCA, container, and API security testing with policy enforcement. You will lead cloud-native AWS services and drive secure development across DevSecOps with AI-enabled practices.

Lead the design of APIs, automation, and CI/CD capabilities; mentor engineers; ensure reliability and scale; participate in enterprise security strategy and cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering or platform engineering experience.
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• Strong expertise with AWS cloud technologies and cloud-native architectures.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve the platform that orchestrates security scanning across applicable applications and enforces standards.
• Lead design, development, and implementation of cloud-native platform services on AWS (IAM, ECS, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, S3, CloudFormation).
• Develop APIs, event-driven integrations, automation, and CI/CD capabilities for reliable security testing at scale.
