Qualifications

• 12+ years of software experience with leadership exposure.
• Must hold or be able to obtain Top-Secret with TS/SCI eligibility.
• Proficiency in Python for backend and API development.
• Experience with microservices, relational databases, and asynchronous messaging.
• Frontend development with TypeScript, Vite, and modern component-based architecture.
• Experience with Git-based source control, CI/CD, and automated tests.
• Ability to translate requirements into software architecture and execution plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end architecture and implementation of cloud-native services on AWS.
• Mentor and grow a software engineering team; manage performance and career development.
• Oversee staffing, performance reviews, and daily operations in a growth-oriented culture.
• Translate mission and system requirements into software architectures and specs.
• Collaborate with MBSE, cybersecurity, test, and DevSecOps teams to ensure traceability.
• Lead backend development using Python and API design; ensure robust services.
• Guide frontend design for reusable, scalable UI components with TypeScript.
• Implement secure authentication and RBAC/ABAC mechanisms across apps.
• Coordinate integration, deployment, and production support with DevSecOps and partners.
• Identify risks and architectural gaps; develop mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for secure government missions.
