Job summary

Net2Source (N2S) is seeking a STS Modernization Developer in Austin to modernize legacy applications, refactor outdated components, and deliver scalable, cloud-ready solutions. You will transform systems, improve performance, and align with modern architecture standards.

Key responsibilities include analyzing legacy apps, designing modernization paths, and collaborating with architects, DevOps, and modernization teams to ensure end-to-end upgrades with robust testing and release planning.

Qualifications

Experience in application modernization or legacy system transformation.
Understanding of modern architectures: microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD pipelines, cloud-ready design.
Ability to work with legacy systems (old frameworks, monoliths, on-prem infra, old API layers).
Good debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Analyze legacy applications and design modernization paths (refactor, rebuild, replatform).
Develop updated components using modern languages, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
Improve existing APIs, integrations, and data flows to meet current standards.
Enhance system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
Collaborate with architects, DevOps, and modernization teams to deliver end-to-end upgrades.
Participate in testing, documentation, release management, and cutover planning.
