Cyderes is seeking a Software Engineer III to own the cloud-native microservices behind our Security-as-a-Service platform. You will work on a small team with ownership, mentoring, and collaboration with product, security, and operations to turn customer needs into reliable software.

Responsibilities include designing scalable, secure microservices, deploying to cloud providers, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines while maintaining security practices and up-to-date documentation.

Formación

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong skills in Go or Python.
• Experience building APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Terraform.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Working knowledge of observability tools (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure microservices with minimal oversight.
• Turn customer needs and business goals into clear technical requirements, and drive delivery with product, security, and operations partners.
• Deploy to the cloud (AWS, GCP, and/or Azure) using Terraform, and run containerized workloads on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ship well-tested code and improve our automated testing and CI/CD pipelines.
• Review code and designs, and mentor teammates through pairing and feedback.
• Build with security in mind to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
• Use AI-assisted and spec-driven development tools to move faster without sacrificing quality.
• Keep documentation current for the systems you own.
• Join our on-call rotation for production incidents.
