Cyderes is seeking a Software Engineer III to own the cloud-native microservices behind our Security-as-a-Service platform. You will work on a small team with ownership, mentoring, and close collaboration with product, security, and operations to turn customer needs into reliable software.

The role emphasizes design through production, with opportunities to influence architecture, implement secure solutions, and contribute to CI/CD improvements in a hybrid, multi-cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building APIs and microservices.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with at least one major cloud provider and Terraform.
• Familiarity with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Working knowledge of observability tools (e.g., OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, and operate scalable, secure microservices.
• Translate customer needs into technical requirements with product, security, and operations partners.
• Deploy to the cloud using Terraform and run containerized workloads on Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ship well-tested code and improve CI/CD pipelines.
• Review code and mentor teammates through pairing and feedback.
• Build with security in mind to protect applications from vulnerabilities.
• Use AI-assisted tools to move faster without sacrificing quality.
• Keep documentation current for the systems you own.
• Join on-call rotation for production incidents.
