Job summary

Mastercam seeks a DevSecOps Security Engineer to secure and govern our cloud-native application platforms, AI-enabled solutions, and supporting infrastructure. This role integrates security throughout the software development lifecycle, including CI/CD pipelines, Kubernetes environments, identity and access management systems, cloud services, and AI workloads.

Working closely with Software Engineering, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and IT Operations teams, the DevSecOps Security Engineer

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; equivalent combinations will be considered.
• 4+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, Cloud Security, DevOps or Platform Engineering.
• 1+ year supporting Kubernetes or containerized environments.
• Experience securing cloud-native applications and services.
• Experience with vulnerability management and secure coding practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and collaborating with development teams.
• Experience with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

Responsibilities

• Secure Kubernetes-based platforms and containerized workloads.
• Integrate security into CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows.
• Manage identity and access controls across systems (OAuth2, OIDC, MFA, SSO).
• Secure secrets, certificates, and encryption keys; automate rotation.
• Secure API gateways and service-to-service communications; enforce Zero Trust.
• Monitor security events; respond to incidents and perform risk assessments.
• Evaluate AI/ML workloads for security risks and governance.
