Job summary

TalentCompass seeks a forward-thinking DevOps Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ to transform traditional data center infrastructure into a cloud-native environment powered by automation, AI, and modern DevOps practices.

You will design cloud-native infrastructure across AWS/Azure/GCP using Crossplane and Pulumi, build IaC pipelines, and collaborate with AI/product teams to integrate LLMs into CI/CD and operations. This is a hands-on role requiring coding during interviews.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in DevOps, cloud engineering, or infrastructure automation.
• Hands-on with Crossplane and Pulumi in at least one cloud (AWS preferred).
• Proficient in Python, TypeScript, Go, or Rust for scripting.
• Experience optimizing Snowflake environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with LLM integration into DevOps workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of cloud-native infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP using Crossplane and Pulumi.
• Build and maintain IaC pipelines to deploy applications and data services at scale.
• Collaborate with data teams to optimize Snowflake for performance, cost, and security.
• Develop automation scripts in Python/TypeScript/Go/Rust for provisioning and monitoring.
• Integrate LLM technologies into operations and alerting workflows.
• Partner with engineers to ensure deployment observability for web and mobile apps.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and secrets across environments.
• Drive reliability and developer experience improvements.
• Contribute to internal DevOps standards and reusable modules.
