Job summary

Wmg is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable, secure cloud infrastructure across multi-cloud environments. You will leverage IaC with Pulumi and Python to enable repeatable deployments, while optimizing containerized workloads and observability.

Responsibilities include deploying across AWS, GCP, and Azure; managing ECS/EKS; building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions; and tuning Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, Kafka, and RabbitMQ.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years in DevOps/SRE/Cloud engineering deploying apps in cloud environments.
• AWS expertise with production-level experience in GCP or Azure; all three is a plus.
• Strong Pulumi with Python for IaC and automation.
• Production experience with AWS ECS/EKS and container orchestration.
• Proficient in GitHub Actions for CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with SQS, Kafka, RabbitMQ; Elasticsearch/OpenSearch setup.
• Experience migrating JBOSS/WebLogic workloads to containers.
• DevSecOps practices including container scanning and secrets management.
• FinOps awareness across multi‑cloud environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infra across AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Architect infra with Pulumi and Python for repeatable deployments; CloudFormation/Terraform a plus.
• Manage and scale containerized apps using AWS ECS and EKS.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions for automated delivery.
• Administer messaging queues and event streams: RabbitMQ and Kafka.
• Manage Elasticsearch/OpenSearch clusters.
• Migrate legacy JBOSS/WebLogic workloads to modern cloud environments.
• Implement monitoring/alerting/logging with Grafana/Prometheus/CloudWatch/New Relic.
