Job summary

DeWinter Group is seeking a hands-on Network DevOps Engineer to join a team focused on automating multi-cloud networking across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI.

You will build scalable network modules, manage IaC with Terraform, and script with Python to automate API calls, while collaborating to keep the environment agile and resilient. This hybrid role is based in Palo Alto, CA, with availability to start ASAP and W2 employment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Network DevOps or Cloud Networking.
• Hands-on with multi-cloud environments: AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI.
• IaC using Terraform including state management and multi-provider setups.
• Python scripting for automation and API integration.
• Git and GitHub workflows; conflict resolution.
• Basic networking concepts for troubleshooting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Network DevOps or Cloud Networking
• Strong hands-on experience with cloud environments:
  • AWS (VPC, Transit Gateway, Route53, Security Groups)
  • Azure (VNET, NSG, Virtual WAN)
  • GCP/OCI (VCN, DRG, Shared VPC)
• Expertise in infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform, including state management and multi-provider configurations
• Proficiency in Python scripting for automation and API interactions (boto3, requests, etc.)
• Daily experience with Git and GitHub workflows (PRs, branching, resolving merge conflicts)
• Basic networking knowledge to understand core concepts and troubleshoot issues

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, specifically GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with network security policies and firewall management
• Knowledge of VPN/Direct Connect configurations for cloud connectivity
• Prior experience troubleshooting network automation scripts

Preferred Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud networking, network automation, or DevOps roles
