Job summary

EY is seeking AI Systems Engineers to build and operate EY’s AI-native platform substrate, spanning cloud-native Kubernetes, bare-metal, GPU, and GPU-accelerated environments. You will own the infrastructure from data centers to cloud targets, ensuring reliability, portability, and regulator-ready security across multi-tenant workloads.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years building or operating enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, or large-scale Kubernetes environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes distributions (RKE2, EKS/AKS/GKE, K3s) and lifecycle management.
• Deep experience with bare-metal, cloud, hybrid, on-prem, and air-gapped deployment models.
• Strong grounding in cluster networking, storage, and multi-tenancy isolation.
• Experience with GPU infrastructure and scheduling (NVAIE/DCGM).
• Experience with infrastructure-as-code and GitOps tooling (Terraform/OpenTofu, Helm, ArgoCD, Crossplane).
• Proven track record in regulated environments and collaboration with security/architecture teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the cluster & cloud-native platform: compute, Kubernetes and scheduling, multi-tenancy, for Agentic AI workflows.
• Own the infrastructure foundation: Ubuntu/OS, bare-metal, DPU, and NVAIE components.
• Stand up EY Agentic AI environments across cloud, on-prem, edge, and air-gapped targets with a consistent stack.
• Deliver foundational platform capabilities so downstream runtimes can run safely and consistently.
• Own cluster lifecycle, autoscaling, GPU pooling/virtualization, and tenancy boundaries.
• Own secure execution and inference with sandboxing for isolated model execution.
• Own cognitive routing and model/prompt selection under latency and cost constraints.
• Collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD, IaC, and GitOps to ensure reproducibility and drift-free environments.
• Own backup, disaster recovery, and cross-environment replication and platform hygiene.
